Wortley Group Pty Ltd is seeking a part time Credit Control/Accounts Receivable Officer to join our admin team, based in Mulgrave, Melbourne. 

Key responsibilities include monitoring and processing our account receivables activity from daily bank statements, direct debits BPAY and reviewing all client receipts and bank reconciliations. 

Processing credits, responding to client debtor enquiries and following up outstanding payments would also be considered key functions.

The credit control aspect coordinates collection processes to facilitate client payment within trade Account terms, in addition to assisting our CEO with risk management of the company’s debtor ledger. 

Providing general assistance within the administrative functions of the business, along with some customer service exposure would be considered as part of the role, as required. 

The role provides a terrific work/life balance of approximately 4 hours per day, 3-4 days a week, which depending on the successful candidate, can be adjusted to suit outside commitments.

The successful candidate will:

  • Experience with Accounts Receivable or within a broad accounting related role
  • Demonstrated customer service experience with the ability to build strong relationships
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including Excel
  • Knowledge of MYOB an advantage, not essential.
  • Accounting or Finance related qualifications will be highly regarded
